Before You Travel

  • We kindly ask that you RSVP to the Save the Date letting us know whether you will be attending by December 31, 2026.

    Formal invitations will go out to all confirmed guests in early 2027.

  • We recommend flying into Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), approximately 15 minutes from the château.

    Paris Orly Airport (ORY) is also an option, though travel time is slightly longer.

  • We recommend staying in the Champs-Élysées area, which offers a convenient home base for exploring Paris throughout the weekend. Complimentary shuttles will be offered to wedding guests departing from and returning to selected locations within this area - more details to come.

    We've curated a selection of recommended hotels to suit a variety of preferences. These can be found on the Travel page.

    As September is a popular time to visit France, we encourage guests to book accommodations early.

The Celebration

  • Château de Champlâtreux

    Épinay-Champlâtreux, France

    Approximately:

    • 30 minutes from central Paris

    • 15 minutes from Charles de Gaulle Airport

    Complimentary shuttles to the wedding will be departing from and returning to select locations in the Champs-Élysées area - more details to come.

  • Guests should plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time to settle in, and enjoy a glass of champagne before the celebration begins.

    A detailed timeline of the wedding day will be available along with the formal invitations. Formal invites will only be sent out to confirmed guests in early 2027, so please RSVP if you are planning on attending.

  • Our hope is that the day feels less like a traditional wedding and more like an elevated cozy evening at home with our favourite people (i.e. you).

    Champagne in the gardens.

    A candlelit dinner.

    Exceptional food and wine.

    Then an unforgettable living room dance party.

  • The ceremony is planned outdoors within the château grounds, weather permitting.

    Cocktail hour will take place throughout the gardens and terraces before guests move indoors for dinner and dancing beneath the château's historic interiors.

    Should weather require, indoor contingency plans are already in place.

Dress & Etiquette

  • Black Tie Encouraged.

    Gentlemen are invited to wear a tuxedo or formal black dinner jacket with a black bow tie or black tie.

    Ladies are encouraged to wear an elegant floor-length gown or sophisticated evening dress.

    As the celebration takes place within a historic French château, we kindly ask guests to avoid short cocktail dresses, overly casual attire, or bright colours. Think timeless tailoring, dark neutral colors, understated elegance, and classic silhouettes.

  • The château grounds include gravel pathways and historic stone surfaces.

    Block heels or elegant flats are encouraged if you'll be exploring the gardens.

  • Due to the intimate nature of our celebration, invitations are extended only to those named on your invitation.

    Thank you for understanding.

  • No. We have chosen not to have a traditional wedding registry. As we’ll be travelling, we kindly ask that you not bring physical gifts. Having you celebrate with us in France is truly the greatest gift we could receive.

Dining & Hospitality

  • Absolutely. Champagne, carefully selected French wines, and premium cocktails will be served throughout the evening.

  • Of course. Please submit any allergies or dietary requirements when responding to the formal invitation. Our caterer will be delighted to accommodate you wherever possible.

Transportation

  • Yes. Transportation will be arranged between our recommended hotels and the château.

    A detailed shuttle schedule will be shared closer to the wedding weekend.

  • Yes.

    Complimentary parking will be available on the estate for guests who choose to drive.

  • Early September in northern France is typically mild and pleasant. Average temperatures range from 18–25°C (64–77°F) during the day, with cooler evenings.

    We recommend bringing a light wrap or jacket for late-night celebrations outdoors.
